Gods from world mythologies — Shiva, Zeus, Ra, Thoth, Sekhmet, Athena, Hermes, Ogun, and Many more — have gathered. Rather than destroying everything in direct warfare, they summon representatives of every species, staging an ongoing tournament where they have to prove their worth for their survival.
Don't romanticize it, Amayra. It is not as simple as you tell it. The gods are given several galaxies to handle, several nebulas to handle. And since the universe is ever-expanding while the gods are limited, they are in deep trouble.
Hence, to cut down and shrink the size of the universe, they have agreed to hold a tournament where every species that does not measure up on their scale as worthy will be completely erased. We are here to survive — not to entertain anyone.
